TRIP TO KEMET

Peace !

My name is Keron Ifill and I am currently studying Philosophy at the illustrious Howard University. After completing several courses in hieroglyphs and Africana studies, I have received an opportunity to study abroad in Egypt this summer in August. There is unprecedented artistic and spiritual inspiration from the culture and wisdom that emerges out of the practices of Egypt. Our ancestors have been contributing this knowledge and wisdom for generations since before we allowed outsiders to educate our youth. 

Visiting the temples and landmarks of the great Africans that have come before us, will increase my level of connection to my hidden self. We have been heavily influenced by the distractions that modern society has rendered as "information". Getting to the ancestral roots of our metaphysical tree will ultimately allow us to experience expansion in our mental, physical, and spiritual growth. I aspire to make these connections and ask you all to support my journey to connecting to the roots of our history. I am seeking a level of higher learning and I would be tremendously thankful if you could contribute to the substantial growth that I seek from this unique experience. On the trip we will be visiting pyramids, reading ancient hieroglyphs off of the walls and visiting Nubian villages to connect with natives.
